PERSONAL HIGHLIGHTS:
Coach Klinect played his high school soccer at Duluth High School and
scored the very first goal in Duluth history back in 1985. Played club
soccer locally for GSA and Datagraphics before playing collegiately at
Georgia State University and was a four-year letterman including his
captaincy as a senior in 1990. Played professionally in Scotland from
1990-1992 and semi-professionally in the Atlanta area for the Atlanta
Magic, Atlanta Lightning, and the Atlanta Attack from 1992-1994 in the
USISL.

Married to Melinda Wilson and they have three kids, Sutton (18), Jake (13),
and Keely (8). Coach Klinect and his family are very active in supporting
Special Olympics Georgia and was recently named SOG Family of the Year.
Coach Klinect is in his fifth season as a club coach at GSA coaching a U-14
boys team and a U-9 girls team.

Coach Klinect is an avid genealogist and military historian.  Along with
these interests Coach Klinect has been teaching AP World  History for
fifteen years and AP Government for eight years.
