Reyvid Torres joined Parkview High School in 2024 with a strong track record of success and leadership in coaching. Named 3A Coach of the Year by the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association (GACA) and Georgia Small School Coach of the Year by United Soccer Coaches, Coach Torres has demonstrated a commitment to excellence throughout his career. He also currently coaches at the Gwinnett Soccer Academy in the Boys program.

Before joining Parkview, Coach Torres led Columbus High School's soccer program to national prominence. In his final season, the team finished ranked #21 nationally by United Soccer Coaches, and he helped guide them to a GHSA State Championship, the first in school and Columbus, GA history. With an impressive overall record of 125-38-4, his teams consistently excelled at the state and regional levels, earning recognition as top contenders in Georgia.

Coach Torres is known for his player-centered approach, focusing on both the technical and cognitive development of athletes. He integrates innovative training methods, such as the TOVO methodology, to foster critical thinking, competence, and character in his players. In addition to his success on the field, he prioritizes academic achievement and leadership, preparing his athletes for success beyond soccer.

When he is not busy coaching, Coach Torres enjoys taking long walks with his wife Alice and his dog Bex, and traveling to various countries across the world.

Men's JV Head Coach

Coach Matthews is entering his sixth year with the Parkview Soccer program, currently serving as the JV Boys head coach and Varsity Boys assistant. Prior to joining the Parkview staff, he served as a varsity head coach of girls' soccer at Columbia High School in Dekalb County and Maynard Jackson High School in the Atlanta Public School system. Coach Matthews also served as an academy coach for Gwinnett Soccer Association.
